Strain

A muscle strain, also called a pulled muscle, occurs when movement overstretches your muscles and causes them to tear. While painful, they should go away with rest. Seek medical care if the symptoms worsen with time or if the pain is severe.
Repetitive strain injury (RSI) is a condition that can develop from repetitive or overuse of muscles, tendons, and nerves. The most common type of RSI is probably carpal tunnel syndrome, which occurs when the median nerve in the wrist becomes compressed or irritated, leading to pain, numbness, and tingling in the hand and fingers. This condition is often associated with activities such as typing, using a computer mouse, and assembly line work.
